Download Guide, the no-frills directory to every known site
that allows you to "rent" or buy music online. Most
services offer one or more of three options: (1) Purchase singles
and/or songs for a set fee, typically 79 to 99 cents for singles
and $4.99 to $9.99 for albums. You can then play these files
on your computer or MP3 player or burn them to a CD. This is
the service offered by iTunes and Amazon, (2) Pay a monthly fee,
typically about $10, for streaming access to singles or albums
via your computer, or (3) Play a slightly higher fee, typically
about $15, for streaming access and the ability to download songs
and albums to your MP3 player (excluding iPods). The music will
play as long as you have paid your monthly fee. Once you cancel
your membership, the files will not be accessible. So you are
essentially renting the music this is a great way to hear
